I have six-session Saturday morning classes starting in March, April, June and July; and evening classes coming up in March, April, May and June.

This short course generally follows the sequence of my commercial audiocourse.
It seems to me the most common causes of the communication problems most newcomers experience are probably not the ones you think they are. We will spend some time on the most troublesome aspects of American English vowels. But we'll spend most of our time practicing the distinctive "music" -- the rhythm, timing and pitch changes -- of this brand of English. We'll work a lot on stress and non-stress. And we'll note how the "environment" of each speech sound affects its pronunciation.
I can't promise that anyone will mistake you for a native-speaker; but you should be more easily understood at the end of these six sessions.
Please note: This course is not a grammar review; it is meant for speakers of intermediate or advanced English language skill.
